  • Love Melanie's macarons! Something I look forward to every chance I get to go to the Torrance's farmers market on Tuesday and Saturdays! I was never a macaron person until I had these. The perfect crispy/chewiness texture with authentic delicious fillings makes them addicting. My favorite flavors are strawberry, earl grey, mango, buko pandan and black sesame. The flavors really shine through!

  • I came across Munch Bakery through a friend who took me to the Torrance Farmer's Market. I'm so glad that I did because I was looking for another spin on macarons - I was tired of the usual flavors with pretentious prices. Munch Bakery is AMAZING. What's extra special is the Filipino flavors that I grew up cherishing but in a larger than average bite sized macaron. You can get the goodies at the Farmer's Market (which is also lovely) or carefully (and I mean carefully) shipped. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
